Reduction: The first step in reduction is achieved through a 5L/B V-belt drive, with additional stages using chains and sprockets. The input shaft is 3/4", supported by cast iron flanged pillow block bearings. The output shaft is 1", with a 1/4" keyway, also supported by cast iron flanged pillow block bearings. The output shaft operates at a speed of 41 rpm.

 

Clutch: Friction-type clutch located on the input shaft, easily adjustable from the outside.

 

Drive: #50 roller chain with a 50B12 sprocket drives the operator shaft. The door sprocket is selected for door travel speeds of 6"/s to 12"/s.

 

Brake: Electrically activated drum-band solenoid brake.

Manual Operation: Emergency manual chain hoist with a floor-level chain hoist engagement device and electrical cut-out. An automatic electrical interlock disconnects power to the motor operator when the chain hoist is engaged. Standard hoist position is on the right.

 

Electrical Enclosure: All electrical components are housed in a NEMA 1 enclosure with a hinged cover.

 

Limit System: The system uses rotary-type, oil-impregnated steel cams and commercial-grade switches. The limit shaft is supported by self-lubricating bronze bushings for improved precision. The system remains synchronized during manual operation or when the motor is removed.

 

Accu-cam® Feature: Quick, precise one-handed limit adjustments.

 

Corrosion Protection: The frame and control enclosure feature a durable, baked-on enamel finish. The polymer control box cover and yellow chromate coating protect all shafts from corrosion.

 

Mounting: The system can be mounted on the wall, hood, or shelf, on either the right or left side of the door. For indoor use only.
